He is the The Vine.
We are the branches.

Come and grow with us.

A Short History

Motivated by the conviction that something was missing in our spiritual lives, we looked around for the culprit and the Spirit led us to critique what was around us. As has happened in so many other places of worship, some felt that the music in church needed more variety. Others concluded that the services were not meeting their needs. And some were driven to become more involved.

And as the Spirit often does, illumination came. Now, we see more clearly. What was missing had less to do with the church in which we worshiped and more to do with what needed to be done within our hearts. The lukewarm was not the water around us; the lukewarm was us.

Following God’s Lead

Our Mission Statement: To seek as we are Sought, to forgive as we are Forgiven, to love as we are Loved. Where the Spirit has led us is to a place of unease. Absent the safety and comfort of a well-run church, we are asked:

  • to step out in faith into areas of service that we have never considered

  • to enter into roles that, for some, are unfamiliar

  • to expand our relationships outside of our denomination

  • to service those who had previously been outside of our vision

It is in this place of unease that we can more easily see the hand of God. We have continued to grow closer to Him and to each other

Growing Together

We are committed to following in His footsteps, testing each footfall against Scripture, and letting the Spirit lead. Our overarching goal is to take what we have learned, discussed and debated for so long and put it into practice; to stop looking for the theological entertainment of Church and seek instead the Spirit's enabling into service. By the fall of 2024, we expect to be in our new building, our new space into which God has led.

SDA: How We’re Different

Within the church pews, Seventh-day Adventist remain a dynamic body of believers in much the same manner other Christian churches do on Sunday. Adventists encourage the edifying experience of corporate worship, seeing it to be vital for spiritual growth.

Adventists are a worldwide, mission-minded family of believers. Collectively, they strive to meet the needs of many around the world while sharing the truth and hope of the Gospel, and of Jesus Christ’s soon return.

The Seventh-Day Adventist Church (SDA) was established in 1863.

We have 28 Fundamental Beliefs and more than 20 million members.

Saturday is our Sabbath.

We have 13 divisions and over 85,000 churches worldwide.

Together, we’ve sponsored over 8,000 schools (serving more than 2 million students) and 198 hospitals worldwide.
